Learn to Play Program

We offer Learn to Play Programs throughout the Fall/Winter. Each are 6 week sessions and Ice times are every Tuesday minus holidays (we follow school break schedule) from 5:30-6:30 PM. 

Session 1 - September 29th-November 3rd

Session 2 - January 12th-February 16th

Session 3 - TBA

Cost for Learn to Play: $125.00 per 6 week session

Includes a Jersey for your player

The Learn to Play Program is designed for all ages to learn basic hockey skills. The program teaches players the basics of stick-handling, passing and shooting along with improving skating skills. The goal of Learn to Play is to develop individual hockey skills and prepare players to join a team. As a player improves, he/she may be invited to move up into our House League. This provides an opportunity for further skill development and participation in games.

Players should be able to demonstrate basic skating skills and the ability to skate proficiently across the ice without assistance from a coach. Completion of a Learn to Skate class or Hockey Basics class is recommended but not required for success at Learn to Play.

Full Hockey equipment is required for the safety of all players. This includes:

• Hockey Skates
• Hockey Helmet with Full Face Guard
• Hockey Gloves
• Hockey Stick
• Elbow Pads
• Hockey Pants
• Shin Pads
• Shoulder Pads
• Neck Guard
• Hockey Socks

All Learn to Play players will receive a Hockey Jersey.
