Rep Travel Teams

Our "Rep" (Representative) program is our highest tier of competitive hockey. Players are selected through tryouts to represent the association. It is designed for dedicated athletes focused on advanced skill development, requiring a higher commitment of time, travel, and finances compared to recreational (house) leagues.

Ages

We offer Rep teams at various age levels, starting at 10U, depending on the number of players that tryout in any given season.

2026-2027 Age Levels by Birth Year

10U - 2016 & 2017

12U - 2014 & 2015

14U - 2012 & 2013

18U - 2008 thru 2011

When

Tryouts occur in May, with team selection shortly after.

Our Rep season begins with practices in August and concludes with State Tournaments in March.

Some teams may choose to have summer programs for their players.

Where

Practices are held locally on one of our two ice sheets at the Town Toyota Center or Weinstein Beverage Rink. Teams will participate in tournaments we host in Wenatchee as well as travel to tournaments all over the Pacific Northwest and British Columbia. Teams will also participate in PNAHA league games both at home and away.

Practices

Teams practice at least 2 nights per week and players also have access to PowerSkate night and ADM night. Some coaches may make PowerSkate and ADM mandatory.

Games

Each Rep team will decide their own tournament schedule each season. Typically each Rep team will participate in at least 2 away tournaments and 1 home tournament. Individual teams may choose to fundraise to participate in more tournaments in any given season.

Teams will also participate in PNAHA league games throughout the season.

Jerseys

WAHA provides their Rep teams with fully customized game jerseys and game socks, as well as warm up suits for players to wear at tournaments and other team events.

Players will also receive practice jerseys and socks.

Volunteering & Fundraising

Each players family will be asked to participate in various volunteering and fundraising events throughout the season, including Chuck-A-Puck nights with the Wenatchee Wild and our Columbia Cup tournaments.

There is a buyout option to be excluded from some fundraising and volunteering events. You can read the details and see the cost at time of registration.

Extra Costs

Individual teams may decide to fundraise to cover costs of additional tournaments outside of what WAHA covers, as well as other team events, or extra ice time. Any costs not covered by fundraising would be covered by each player/parent.
